Back in 2020, During the Covid Lockdown, I had a dream, a dream to begin a special journey close to the hearts of my boys, all of whom play that beautiful game…. Football.
But…. The million dollar question was.. What would our brand be called…. Then one chilly day on the sidelines I hear…. ‘he’s a Baller’ and BINGO! That’s it, BALLERR with a double ‘R’, it’s got a ring to it!
Having decided on the name, the next thing was the logo and our logo takes its inspiration from the classic black and white football that we all recognise across the globe!
With a new product appearing on the market, grip socks seemed an ideal place to start, and what’s more I had the perfect opportunity to get them tested with the feedback from my children playing every day of the week!
We set about testing the market and decided on what was right for us as a brand, and some of the important things were comfort, fit, grip, style, breathability and most of all affordability!
With the samples winging their way to us we couldn’t wait to try them and just like that…… BALLERR® was born. The socks were perfect!
BUT… It did not stop there…. Our Mission, Vision and Promise, was not only to develop a product that demands Style, Quality and Affordability without compromise, but also to ensure we DONATE to charitable causes. This isn’t just about us, it’s about what we can also give back that’s important to my family. Having grown up around using poor standard sports equipment at schools and clubs, it was clear to see that even a few pounds spent had the ability to change lives.
Taking real inspiration from the great Mr John Caudwell (The English businessman that founded PhonesU) and seeing his fantastic philanthropic work, inspired us to ensure charitable work and donations was a key part of our brand to support grass roots teams, sports clubs, schools and charities.
In 2023 BALLERR® officially launched its website and online shopping platform, and we are eternally grateful for the support we have received from our BALLERR® Community.
This support has enabled us to support good causes close to the hearts of our Ballerr® Community.
Remember, life is a journey and consistency is key to success, for many small charities every £1 counts, be kind and DREAM, BELIEVE and ACHIEVE….
