EC7 Summer Football Tournament
EC7 is pleased to announce that its summer tournament will be held on Saturday, June 28th, and Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at Newbury Rugby Club.
⚽️ Welcome to EC7’s first ever summer tournament ⚽️
🏟️ The Venue is Newbury Rugby Club 🏟️
💰 Tournament fee for teams 💰
£60 per team for a six a side tournament (U9 – U16 and the Ladies)
£40 per team for a new format 3 v 3 tournament (U7 & U8’s)
The goal during this tournament is to promote positive football and encouraging a great atmosphere and an enjoyable tournament for all of those involved and getting as many players playing football as possible.
🤩 EC7 Football Club is based on positivity and respect.
🤝 We ask everyone who takes part and that comes along to support the players to enjoy the game and to behave in a way that shows fair play, respect, and a positive environment for players to enjoy their football.
🫸🫷We are a grassroots football club creating a tournament for grassroots and developing teams and mistakes will happen on the pitch. The players are learning the game and possibly attending their very first tournament. The referees are human and are young people looking to be involved in as much football as possible. More importantly this is just a game so please enjoy it and support all the teams that are involved.
⚽️ Enjoy the moments that football brings, positivity prevails. It is their game, let us enjoy it, together!
😁 Registration will open on the 15th February 2025.

✍️ The Setup
Every team that enters the tournament will play six matches no matter their results. Each match will run for ten minutes. There will be a group stage first, this will be made up of two groups and each group will have four teams in it. All teams will then progress to the quarter finals which will then either progress the teams into the cup or plate competition. They will then progress to the ‘Cup Final’, ‘Plate Final’ , ‘Cup 3rd Place’ or ‘Plate 3rd Place’. Plenty of matches to be played on the day for everyone to be involved for the entire event so it will be worth the day out for everyone.
